Older Adults
Caring for a loved one whose reasoning skills have diminished or who has become medically fragile can be difficult and sometimes overwhelming. Lifesteps Adult Day Health Services is designed to be a support for the caregiver as well as a safe, nurturing environment for individuals who require this assistance with their daily needs. Our medically monitored day program provides both respite care for the caregiver and an alternative to placement in Assisted Living or long-term care for the participant. This program improves the quality of life by providing cognitive stimulation, peer friendships and a host of recreational activities and individualized attention. For the caregiver, we offer an Alzheimer’s Support group monthly in our comfortable, home-like setting.
