Community Homes Lifesteps maintains 49 homes throughout 7 counties in our 10-county service area where adults with special needs (Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities) reside. These homes are staffed to meet the needs of each individual and to support their independence. The Agency’s Community Homes are in quiet neighborhoods and the individuals are part of the community. The goal of the Community Homes program is to help adults with Intellectual / Developmental Disabilities live average, normal lives. Special adaptations may be made to the residences to accommodate individuals’ special needs.
