  Child Check

A FREE SERVICE OF LIFESTEPS
for children ages birth to five years.
Screenings measure development in
playing, talking, seeing, hearing,
moving and thinking.

Your child is special to you. Sometimes even the most concerned and loving parents are unaware of problems their child may be experiencing.

Recognizing early warning signs of childhood problems can improve your child's chances for a happy future. Problems children are born with or may acquire later on could interfere with their normal growth and development. Many conditions can be corrected if parents recognize the early warning signs and seek help.

Highlights

  • Child Check is the first step in the Early Intervention process.
  • Offers public screening sites each month.
  • Visits Preschools and Child Care Centers as requested by providers.
  • Attends community events and church activities involving families with young children.
