Lifesteps' Family Care Mobile Resource Center

Educational resources are readily available to communities in the Indiana County area through Lifesteps' Family Care Mobile Resource Center. Resources include DVDs and books, with information for families on topics such as child development, divorce/relationships, disabilities/special education, grief and loss, senior health, parenting skills, and teen and step parenting. The Family Care Mobile Resource Center travels within a 20-mile radius of city of Indiana.

The Mobile Resource Center is also used to provide FREE developmental/Autism screenings through Lifesteps' Child Check program for children birth to age 5.

Unique to Indiana County, the mobile resource center is funded through the generosity of the United Way of Indiana County, the Bork Family Fund of the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies, and generous community support.
