Family Support Program
For Beaver County residents, Lifesteps provides free services for qualifying families through the Lifesteps' Family Support Program. Funded through Beaver County Children and Youth Services - Early Identification/Crisis Intervention Program , private Foundations and contributions made to the Lifesteps' Family Caring Fund, Lifesteps can provide:
- A Family Facilitator to help with family budgeting, home visits, referrals, role-modeling (parenting education), child development, behavioral issues and more.
- Child Care for families in crisis where children may be at risk of abuse or neglect. The service is also available for sudden or emergency needs. Services include drop-in child care for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age for a maximum of 14 days per program year; child must be referred by Children and Youth Services. Morning and afternoon preschool instruction is also included for children 3-5 years of age.
All families must meet qualifications set by Beaver County Children and Youth Services and must be referred to Lifesteps by CYS. For more information, contact Beaver County CYS.
