Special Events
Lifesteps has more than 120 funding sources and has been recognized
as having a superior level of accountability as a result.
The Lifesteps' Family Caring Fund provides money for those programs
that are not otherwise funded by government grants.
Our Community Relations department is responsible for educating the
public about our programs and services and building support for the
Lifesteps'
Family Caring Fund. The support received from local media plays an
integral role in telling the Lifesteps' story to the community.
Through semi-annual mail campaigns, special events, and memorial and
planned giving programs, Lifesteps fosters relationships with the thousands
of people in the community who support Lifesteps' mission through gifts
to the Lifesteps' Family Caring Fund. Individuals, businesses, social
and fraternal clubs and organizations, restaurants, schools, and other
groups all support Lifesteps through financial gifts.
Our special events have become well known and loved in the community.
People look forward to the events and to the opportunity for enjoyment
while supporting a premier human service agency like Lifesteps.
