23rd Annual "Batters Up Beaver County" Lifesteps Softball Tournament
Bradys Run Park

STEP TO THE PLATE!

Every year, during the last weekend in April, local league and corporate-sponsored teams step to the plate at Lifesteps’ Annual “Batters up Beaver County” Softball Tournament. This double elimination, co-ed tournament, sponsored by WBVP Radio, is not only a great opportunity for team-building and fellowship among colleagues, clients and friends, but it raises necessary monies to support programs and services for children and families in Beaver County.

The tournament features a fundraising contest, awarding the top three fundraising teams; event t-shirts, a Grand Slam Raffle featuring sports memorabilia and assorted certificates; DJ entertainment by The Bobcat; and event trophies for the winning softball teams.

Special thank you to the following groups, organizations and businesses for their efforts in making this tournament a success throughout the years: Beaver Area Jaycees, Beaver County Commissioners, Beaver County United Co-Ed Softball League, Home Savings and Loan, Lifesteps’ Direct Care Professionals, Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Mountain State University, MRS Physical Therapy, NOVA Chemicals, PGT Trucking, PLS Freight Solutions, Value Ambridge Properties and West AirComm Federal Credit Union.

Do you have what it takes to step to the plate and make a difference?
Now’s your chance! Mark your Calendars: April 30 - May 1, 2011. To learn more about how you can be part of this fundraising event, please contact Community Relations in Beaver at 724-774-6494.
