50th Annual Rotary Pancake Festival
Tuesday, November 3, 2009
Vagabond Hall - Lyndora, PA

The A.M. and P.M. Rotary Clubs of Butler hosted their 50th Anniversary celebration of the Annual Election Day Rotary Pancake Festival on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the Vagabond Hall. Rotarians served 1,375 guests and raised net proceeds over $11,000 in support of the Lifesteps Family Caring Fund.

Each year on Election Day, the Rotary Club of Butler hosts this all-day Pancake Festival, serving up pancakes and sausages to the community while Lifesteps’ volunteers serve orange juice, coffee and help to keep the tables clean and ready for the next wave of pancake fans.  The day also included arts and crafts projects, face painting, giveaways and a live appearance by the Old Country Buffet Bee.

This year, each ticket purchased was entry to win a 4-day and 3-night Royal Caribbean Cruise for 2 to Nassau, Bahamas!  We congratulate the winner of the cruise, District Magistrate of Butler, Pete Shaffer!

Please save the date for the 51st Annual Rotary Pancake Festival to benefit Lifesteps, set for next Election Day, November 2, 2010!
