Annual Beaver County "Chip-In" for Lifesteps Golf Classic In its 20th year, the annual “Chip-In” for Lifesteps Golf Classic, was held on Monday, July 21, 2008, at Montour Heights Country Club. Netting over $20,000, this event, sponsored by American General Services Corporation, supports Lifesteps’ programs and services in Beaver County for children, adults and families with special needs. This year’s golf classic featured a four-man scramble on a golf course designed by Pete Dye, complete with lunch, buffet style dinner, skill games and contests, wonderful prizes and a live auction. The event’s successes can be contributed to the hard work of Lifesteps’ volunteer golf committee, chaired by Hal Martin of Howard Hanna Commercial Real Estate Services, and all of this year’s event sponsors!
