Lifesteps, and Lead Sponsor, Seubert & Associates, raised more than $42,000 in net proceeds to benefit the Lifesteps’ Family Caring Fund at the recently held Third Annual Star Gala. The fund supports programs and services offered by Lifesteps such as FREE developmental “Child Check” screenings for children birth to age five, Early Education Centers for children with and without special needs, Family Services and a medically-monitored day program for aging adults. Last year, Lifesteps provided direct services to 8,800 individuals and provided outreach to more than 12,500 in their 10-county service area.

The event, held on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 at the Atrium in Prospect, Pa., took its guests back to the 70’s and 80’s with live music from Pittsburgh’s own disco cover band, Dancing Queen. Other event sponsors included NexTier Bank, The Atrium, The Heart and Vascular Center at Butler Memorial Hospital and Covidien, the event featured a grazing social with complimentary beverages hosted by Medure’s Catering, auctions and unique raffles, and a complimentary photo and gift for each guest.
