Early Head Start

Every child deserves to have a healthy and bright start to their future. Lifesteps Early Head Start services in Beaver County help low-income parents and families with children birth to age 3 get the best start possible.

Early Head Start is a federally-funded program providing free services to low income families. Services center around the family by supporting the child’s development; strengthening the role of the parent; and promoting healthy, self-sufficient families.

Lifesteps Early Head Start is free and supports eligible families in Beaver County through home-based visits designed to help meet the needs of each child and his/her family. Home-based visits provide a comfortable and familiar environment for both the child and the parent to connect with a program staff member. These free visits are conducted weekly with services available year round.

Lifesteps Early Head Start Free Home-based Services provided in Beaver County include:
